The Center for Career Coaching and Professional Development at Columbia College is hosting a fashion show for the third year in Breed 201/202 on March 31 at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Koalaty Fashions.” “The goal for the fashion show is to educate the audience on dress etiquette,” Justin Thompson, career coach for business, mathematics, science and Spanish majors, said.

“We are still looking for models, dancers, a music crew, backstage assistants, photographers and more,” Thompson said. Students may sign-up by Jan. 29 via email to Thompson at [email protected] . Students may also go to his office located in the C3PD building, office 104.

“The fashion show has gotten bigger and better every year,” Thompson said.

The first year the theme was “Fashion Finesse,” and it was sponsored by White House | Black Market, an American women’s clothing retailer. The company also offered discounts to students.

Last year the theme was “Superwoman” with sponsors from J.C. Penney Co., Belk, The Limited and Old Navy.

This year, the fashion show will be sponsored by Belk and J.C. Penney Co.

“Come to engage, learn and have fun. When you dress better, you feel better,” Thompson said.
