Anne Heche is dead. The cars that kept her alive were removed from the American actress after the car accident she was involved in on August 5. The news is reported by the ‘Daily Mail’. The actress, 53 year , had been hospitalized at Grossman Burn Center at West Hills hospital north of Los Angeles and was kept alive only to see if doctors could harvest her organs for donation.

The police said investigators were investigating Heche for driving under the influence of drugs . Police, with a search warrant, took a sample of the actress’s blood and detected the presence of narcotics, LAPD spokesman Jeff Lee said. But toxicology tests, which can take weeks to complete, must be performed to more clearly identify drugs and to differentiate them from any drugs that may have been given to Heche for treatment in the hospital after the accident.

Born in Aurora, Ohio, United States on 25 May of 1969, Anne Heche had a difficult childhood. Her father, a choir director, died of AIDS when she was 14 years. In the same year, her brother Nate also died in a car accident.

During her high school years, the actress began studying acting and worked in some plays. After graduation, she agreed to join the cast of the soap opera ‘Another World’ (Destini, in Italian). The film debut, however, came in 1960 when she takes part in the film ‘The Adventures of Huck Finn’, with a very young Elijah Wood in the role of the protagonist.
