There was a hot performance by Damiano
Unstoppable Maneskin who, as part of the MTV Music Awards 2022, won the award for the best alternative video for ‘I wanna be your slave’. Another great satisfaction for the Roman band that performed gave the audience a performance with a high erotic rate, dressed only in a pair of black leather pants that left part of the thighs uncovered but above all the b-side in beautiful view. The performance of ‘Supermodel’ from the US stage was published on the official MTV Twitter page.

On the one hand, happiness for winning an international prize on the other hand, the controversy surrounding an alleged TV censorship on their looks is important: “It’s really fantastic. We didn’t expect to win. There are great artists here, so it’s an honor for us ”, commented the Maneskins whose look did not go unnoticed: in addition to Damiano’s thong-pants, Victoria with one shoulder dress and a nipple covered only by a stud. On social media, fans went wild accusing the demonstration of censorship for wide shots and the public. But in reality some shots of the two were not lacking and even the official MTV account joked about Damiano’s look, published an excerpt with a shot from behind and writing: “We saw you”.
On the social networks the band thanked with a post “all those who supported us in this adrenaline adventure”.
In this same edition Harry Styles won the award for the best album with Harry’s House while Tay.lor Swift won the highest award, that of video of the year, with ‘All too well’. Among other awards, the artist of the year award went to Bad Bunny, the song of the year award to Billie Eilish for ‘Happier Than Ever’, the best emerging artist award to Dove Cameron.
