Alexa Vega
Alexa Vega is a senior public relations major, with a writing-for-print and digital media minor. Vega has a passion for sports and one day she wants to work for a sports team and become a sports reporter. She is interning at Flock and Rally this semester, gaining valuable experience to pursue reporting as a career. Vega is a devoted Gamecocks fan who loves watching USC football every Saturday during the season. When Vega is not at work or school, she hangs out with her big family and spends time outside walking her dog Theodore or running. She is the head coach for the JV girls’ soccer team at Irmo High School. Vega hopes that the team becomes strong young women who never give up in times of hardships. In addition to her position as co-editor, Vega covers sports, oversees sports writing and manages social media for the PostScript.
