The actor died at 85 years. The memory of colleague Ian Ziering: “ He was a leader for us kids ”
Joe E. Tata, the unforgettable Nat of the cult series of the years’ 90 ‘Beverly Hills 90210’, Yes is off at 85 years after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. This was announced by colleague and friend, Ian Ziering, Steve Sanders on the popular show, on Instagram: “ I remember seeing him in Rockford Files with James Garner years before we worked together – writes the actor posting a photo of his friend – He often played one of the villains of background in the original ‘Batman’ series. He remains in my memory as one of the happiest people I’ve ever worked with, he was as generous with his wisdom as he was with his kindness. Although the ‘Peach Pit’ was just a set in the series, it looked like the ‘Joe E. Tata Show’ scene. In many scenes he could have stayed in the background, but he was a leader, especially for us guys. Today my smile fades – concludes Ziering – but cradled in the most beautiful memories together, it makes it pass from my eyes to my heart, where he will always remain ”. The actor also recalls that: “ In recent months we have lost Jessica Klein, one of the most prodigious writers and producers of 90210, Denise Douse, who played the Mrs. Teasley , and now I am very sorry for the disappearance of Joe E. Tata. ” Joe E. Tata played Nat, the owner of the ‘Peach Pit’, the place where the guys from the popular series most loved by young people over the years 90, gathered in each episode. Also Shannen Doherty , Brenda Walsh in the series, wanted to remember the missing colleague by posting on her Instagram stories a photo that portrays them together in the TV series.
