After the controversy that accompanied the announcement, part next Monday alle 20, 40 on Rai3 ‘The horse and the tower’ , a ten-minute daily strip that sees the former director of the ‘Espresso’ running, Marco Damilano . ‘The horse and the tower’ will be one ten-minute strip , broadcast from September to June 2023 from a studio set up in Viale Mazzini which has a stained glass window in the background from which will see the famous horse of Francesco Messina , symbol of Rai. “A great honor for me, given that I believe it is the first time that Rai broadcasts a program from Viale Mazzini strongly characterized by the mark of the horse – says Damilano – and I approach this commitment with great responsibility”. In reality, they explain in Rai, the studio already existed and had been used during the lockdown. For the Damilano strip it was rearranged ad hoc.
In the studio there may be a guest (no anticipation on the names “because we do not want to spoil the surprise to the public”, observes the host) known or less known, from the world of politics, entertainment, culture, economy or society. “But not every evening – specifies the conductor – we will have it when we need to investigate a fact of the day, but the format of the program foresees that there can be an interview, the story of the country on various facts, but also reportage. this we will have a team of colleagues who will go to the field.
