WoW BC Classic: Dark Portal Pass and Deluxe Edition will be discontinued
by Susanne Braun – An update on the Battle.net store at WoW Burning Crusade Classic lets you know that the Dark Portal Pass and Deluxe Edition are a finite offer – and only until 29. August 2022 are available. Certain Deluxe Edition content may eventually be available for purchase.
If you still want to buy the pass or the deluxe edition, you only have until 21. August 2022 time. That makes sense, of course, because on 31. August 2022 starts the pre-patch phase of WoW Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Therefore, it can be assumed, even if it has not yet been officially confirmed by Blizzard officials, that there will be a WotLK Nordend Pass and a corresponding Deluxe Edition. As soon as this is announced, we will of course let you know.
Some contents of the Deluxe Edition for single purchase
The people at Blizzard promise that “certain Deluxe Edition items may be available for purchase at a later date”. Contents of the Deluxe Edition for Burning Crusade Classic include the Reawakened Phase Hunter mounts for Classic and Viridian Phase Hunter mounts for the live version of WoW (buy now ), the Illidan’s Path toy and the Hearthstone of the Dark Portal. It can be assumed that you will primarily be able to buy these items via the shop. If you still want to strike before the 13. August 2022 has passed, then be happy: both offers are currently up to 50 percent cheaper to have.
