WoW: For the Alliance! Player single-handedly defeats all Horde bosses

from Philipp Sattler When players in WoW knock down raid bosses solo, that’s hardly anything special anymore. It is much more extraordinary when a player defeats the heads of the enemy faction in rows without any help. Mainly because the battles take a long time and enemy players could intervene at any time.

Raids on the opposing WoW capital used to take place very regularly, with several full 40 player raids usually taking place. The target was the leader of the opposing faction, more precisely the various heads of the cities. In recent years, however, it has decreased significantly and today you hardly see city raids in WoW.

And what do you do if you can’t find any players? You just go out on your own. The player Archvaldor did that and managed to do something that until now was thought to be impossible. He’s flown through the Horde capitals and knocked down all the Horde bosses one by one – all solo!

From Fallen Fruit Lor’themar to Challenge Sylvanas

Mocking tongues would claim that Archvaldor had to go alone because there weren’t enough alliance players on the servers. However, it was his free choice. He wanted to see if it was now possible to knock out all bosses solo.

  • It started in Silvermoon City with Lor’themar, the boss of the blood elves. According to Archvaldor, this is the easiest of the bosses. Combat is simple as some abilities don’t seem to scale up properly. However, it takes a good hour to beat down the many life points of the blood elf.
  • Also Baine in Thunder Bluffs wasn’t much harder. However, Archvaldor had to play around with a bug that caused the boss to reset again and again. With a bit of trickery and good positioning in a corner of the tent, however, the problem was solved and Baine also fell over after about an hour.
  • Next he devoted himself to Rohkan in Orgrimmar, who was currently performing the role of Warchief in Orgrimmar. In most cases, this fight is absolutely impossible due to too many Horde players populating the city. So Archvaldor tried his hand at Rokhan in the middle of the night. Although the boss has very low life points, he is extremely crisp. Because he distributes stacking debuffs and reduces the healing received. If the fight lasts too long, you hardly stand a chance.
  • The last thing was Sylvanas in old Undertown turn. This was the hardest and longest fight. Sylvanas has health similar to Baine and Lor’themar. In contrast to them, you also have to deal with tons of add-ons here. In addition, Sylvanas keeps disappearing and can only be attacked for a few seconds when it appears. There is also a healing debuff and a fear effect. The fight itself lasts several hours and if you don’t pay enough attention, the adds will disassemble you immediately.

Why did Archvaldor do this? Primarily simply because he could now do it. There were no real rewards apart from the achievements that you also get in a raid. Unless you’re looking at 22 to 90 Gold as a relevant reward. But there should be easier and, above all, faster ways to get gold.
